To all you women out there who have pregnancy stretch marks, help is here!
November 12, 2009
Ever since my son was born I have spent most days being told how lovely he is and how much he looks like me and my husband. I love him to pieces and wouldn’t change my life for the world.
The only thing that I do miss is my beautifully firm, stretch mark free belly. At barely 24 years old I have always taken advantage of having blemish free skin but, since having my son, I have many pregnancy stertch mark scars all over my belly and around my thighs, I even have a couple on my breasts where they grew quickly.
I was informed before the pregnancy to use liberal amounts of coco butter but I forgot about this advice and used nothing! The stretch marks were visible throughout the pregnancy but after giving birth to sam, when my tummy went back to being flat (er) the pregnancy stretch marks became more obvious and there seemed to be a lot more of them too.
I tried a few creams and oils to reduce them with no success, then, when having a moan to a girly friend of mine over dinner a lovely lady interrupted us, she’d listened to us talking and wished to recommend that I try a derma roller.
So I took her number and did a search on Google for ‘derma roller’. I discovered derma-rollers.com and discovered that the derma roller helps to reduce stretch marks by starting the healing process, therefore increasing the levels of collagen and elastin in the skin.
I decided to buy a derma roller to treat my stretch marks I mean what did I really have to lose? The derma skin roller isn’t very expensive and if it didn’t work there is a results based money back guarantee. I got the 1mm and 1.5mm sizes and recieved a free vitamin rich natural source cream!
I have now been using the derma roller to reduce my stretch marks for about 4 months now and it’s been amazing on my stomach and thighs! Most of the stretch marks have totally gone and the deeper stretch marks are now much less visible, I think using the 1.5mm has benefited these most.
I have my confidence back!
