Why Your Acne Remedy Isn’t Working

November 25, 2009

Clearing acne is something that many people think is outright impossible. We bounce from one acne product to the next and never seem to get any positive results. After wasting a lot of time, effort, and money, I think I’m beginning to understand why! Most of the acne remedies I was using only treated the external signs of acne and did nothing to treat the internal cause of the disease!

The real reason acne forms lies deep inside you, not on your skin. Some kind of imbalance is causing your body to produce sebum oil at an excessive rate. Acne breakouts begin with an excessive amount of sebum oil on your skin. When your acne treatment only affects what’s happening on your skin, your chances of becoming acne free are nil.

It seems that the folks that sell these acne treatments don’t want us to be acne free, after all. Finding a complete cure for acne would mean I would no longer have to buy their remedies.

We have to find something that will treat both the internal and external causes of acne. Just treating your skin condition will not cure your acne. I recently read an article about getting rid of acne that does a great job of explaining this whole thing. They also spoke of ways to find a true acne cure and stop relying on temporary treatments that never work over the long haul.

I suppose that the point I’m really trying to make here is the fact that if you continue doing what you’ve always done, you’ll keep getting the results you’ve always gotten. Why not spend some time learning what you really need to know about treating acne the right way?
