Nanna And Her Young Helper
January 20, 2010
This week I visit my nanna. I look forward to meeting her, though she has become a bit stubborn in her later years. I will not embarrass her by divulging her years, but let’s simply say she is a lady with thoroughly seasoned wisdom.
I understand her daughter just brought by a litter of baby kittens for amusement. Of course, her daughter had to endure an extended lecture on caring for young kittens. I am certain my granny would have loved to keep a couple of the kittens, but they are just too much for her to handle at this point.
I constantly discover something puzzling at her place when I see her. Last time, I discovered several guides on penny stocks on her cocktail table. My grandmother learning how to buy penny stock online? That is bizarre. I wonder what I’ll discover on her coffee table this time.
This time will make for a busy sojourn. I must install her different Emtek door knobs and air conditioner filters then fix her garden cart. I additionally have to take her old pots and pans to charity because she just purchased a new collection of pots and pans to replace them. As a reward, she claims to also have bought the best ice cream maker and the very best of all the electic coffee makers. I appreciate it, but I also must laugh softly as she always claims to have or utilize only the very best of this or that.
If everything goes well, she will employ both to dish me some fabulous java at dawn and ice cream in the afternoon. That sounds like more than pay back enough for my effort. I am happy to help her out for nothing, but a little robust coffee and creamy ice cream doesn’t bother me.
